Part one - how Germany became a dictatorship

On July the 14th, 1933 a law was passed in Germany banning all parties other then the Nazi party. The country had become a dictatorship.
But how did a country with democracy so become a dictatorship?
After world war two Germany was going though an economy crisis. Though was much unemployment and a lack of production. Money become devalued and nobody could afford to buy food or goods.
The Nazi party took this chance.
It held rallies and public meetings, and gained support. In 1932 it gained enough support to form a coalition government and Hitler become chancellor. Over the next year it promised jobs to workers, end of street fights, to crush trade unions and other things the people of Germany wanted. While this was happing Germany was become a Nazi state as with nazi values such as racism founded. Jews were persecuted and Germen lost rights.
