Mission Fair

Sell out @ our store!

We ran out of hot chips and fudge. We sold like three buckets of popcorn and a book of raffle tickets. That's what I call sell out. It is isn't it?
What ever . It was awesome

Our store was really popular. We sold heaps of stuff. And made $148.90! By the way i did it with JMK, Ben P. and Rebecca.

Next time I think we should  organise the stifts better-perhaps draw up a timetable because I was confused about it and i would of liked more time. Also we should buy more chips.

Girl Guides

Making donuts, rock climbing, pj parties, Tree interviewing, Mud pie making. Those are all activities ihave done as a girl guide.

I LOVE guides.. We do hopes of fun stuff. I also like been part of a global organisation. WAGGGS (world association of girl guides and girl scouts) Is in 145 countries with over 10 million girls! And guess what; I'm one of them.
We do a wide range of things at guides. We go places, sell biscuits, earn badges and do lots of cooking and eating. Last session some rangers come in and showed us some stuff. We learnt how to tie the slip note ( I aced at it.) and the good luck note(pretty, but near impossible.) We were taught about tramping and made pet rocks(craft is a guiding speciality).
I'm pretty sure that was part of our ranger awareness badge. I'm probably going to join rangers next year so boom!
My question: what was the best mud fight you ever had?
And my words of advice: Females join guides(adults can be leaders). Males bad luck

Sats

This term so far we have been doing statistics.
The of the main things I have l learnt to do is the scatter graph and box and whisker graphs, as well as doing some more work a pie graph.
I think I have improved, but I must of had a bad day on Monday because I am not proud of my score in the test.
What I think helped me learn was doing the graph, first as a group and then by myself.    

Camp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Camp was totally awesome!

We went up to Tongeriro it to the OPC(outdoor pursuit center) there. They was heaps of stuff to do, But we only did a bit. It was still a lot though!

Some of the activities were did were abseiling, kayaking and caving.
The one I found the most challenge was the high ropes. I found it really scary. We were so high above the ground! My proudest monout was diffidently when i managed to stand up on the rickty bride. I had slid to the middle of it after freaking out a bit. The (guess what!) I walked to the end and back.

Abseiling was a bit scary at first, But then a got past the first bit and it was really fun. In fact it was my favorite activity at camp.Bush bashing/orienting was quite, and I needed to lead in the hardest bit! I think the easiest activities for my were caving and kayaking/canoeing. Kayaking was really fun .

At first camp was a bit different from what i expected, But once started on the activities i found they were-well at lest some of them- were what i expected, though why awesome.
  
OPC was really cool. I would to go back and do it all again!

swimming-water safety

For swimming I'm doing water safety. We go on tuesday.
We do things like floating and survival backstock. I find it quite boring because I know most of the stuff already.
At the end of each under water swim. I'm quite good at holding my breath  but I have trouble because to water pressure makes my ears a lot.
We also do some swimming practice because some people need to work on swimming. It's quite annoying. The people who have trouble swimming should be in water safety. 

Camp

I - AM - LOOKING - FORWARD - TO - CAMP.

I just wanted to make that clear. I hope I did. Did I? So, as i have I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO CAMP. 

But do not want to do some things. They are;

       freaking out on the high ropes course.

       forgetting something.

       turning out to be really unfit and holding everyone up.

There's probably some other stuff but i don't care. I just made up the bottom two. There still true though.Over all am really looking forward to it and I'm not really worried  and it's going to be so fuuuuunnnn......
