Christmas.... and my (maybe) last blog post. Nooo....

I am staying at home for the well, Christmas part of Christmas. My grandparents on my m,ums side will be there so we'll celebrate it with them. We don't have many super exciting traditions. we

  • me and my sisters the turns putting the star on tree.
  • put up stockings
  • leave out cookies and bed for Santa (my sisters are still little).
  • go to church.
  • normally go to the beach.
  • on boxing day we often go to scorching bay (another beach).
In January I'm going up north (Cambridge, just outside of Cambridge, Tauranga, Rotorua, and hopefully Auckland) to visit many of my relations. I'll also go somewhere with my family (i'll go up north alone- most of the rellies are just mine)

And now this my last blog post, and perhaps (almost certainly) my last blog post ever. So I have a few things to say.

goodbye

St Benedict's rules (especially the 2014 year 8s). I will miss it a loooott.

20155555555555555555555555555555555555555555 (2015)

201555555555555555555555555555555 expresses exactly how I'm feeling. Which is what the?  so there's 94 and 10 minutes left of school. Or 88 hours and 10 minutes (88.6 hours), as i won't be at school on thursday because I've go a orientation day for my new high school, St. Mary's college.
So College. Those two words (so college) basically sum up the next five years of my left. Well I'm planning it to be the next five years. I might drop out early. I'm thinking about it jk. Or might get hold back, but I'm pretty/ 100% sure I won't.
I'm kind of looking forward to leaving St. Bens. Lately I've been wanting to move. And then some stuff is getting complicated and I've been feeling a bit left out, and some people....
But i mostly don't want to leave. The thing I'm going to miss the most is the year Eights. Shout out to all the saint Ben's year eights- YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME AND I'M GOING TO MISS ALL OF YOU SOOO MUCH NEXT YEAR! And the years sevans two of course. and the year sixes. and the year fives and the year fours and threes and twos and ones and new entrance, even those yet to come. I'll just say everyone at St Bens, even the annoying ones, or the ones who I know but can't name, or those i can name but can't put a face to. I'll miss you.
As you might of picked up, I'm going to St Marys. I'm really excited about all the subjects there especially English and Maths. And social science. And anything that involves history (i luuv history- tudors and ancient Egypt/ Greece/ Rome are my beas). And RE sounds fun(we get to watch Wally).  I also really excited about meeting new people and making new friends. I know about 4 years girls who are starting in year nine, a heap of girls who will be in year 10, and one or two older girls. I'm going to be doing netball, so hopefully I'll meet some girls doing that. I imagine (and so anyone who knows me) I'll be spending quite a bit of time in the school library. I'm also a bit well, scared.

Speech of doom. (jk)

speeches speeches speeches. They are, well speeches. And my one was about, boom,  why I need more time on electronics. Lots of people told me my speech was good, but i feel that i could of worked a lot on speaking s-l-o-w-i-n-g and c-l-e-a-r-i-n-g. As for the speeches i really liked Katherines and some other year sevan's. Bens speech was entertaining (well the bits about Xara, not the bits about a how to do a good speech.) and Xaras.. good presenting, but what was your topic?
  What speeches did you enjoy?

Give me four reasons.

A book I've been reading recently is Give me four reasons. It,s about a girl called Paige who feels invisible. Part of this is because no one write in her 'passport' -yearbook- on the last day of school and she gets left out of the water fight and other farewell rituals. This scared me a little -what if it happens to me!When she gets home her mum forgets about her and neglects Paige to comfort her sister who hass broken up with her boyfriend.
Paige is also going though problems at home and she feels its her fault.
When she gets back to school Paige finds a lot has changed. She accidentally falls with the cool kids and finds herself telling lies to stay in with her new friends. She is also having trouble staying friends with the girls who have been her best friend since kindergarten.
I liked give me four reasons because it's about really life I was interested by the transformation Paige was going though and I was know interested in the story line.
My favourite character was Shelly, a girl who Paige meets on summer holiday. She's a cool girl and a good friend to Paige. I also quite like Claire, Queen of Clairvoyance a fortune teller who reads Paige's fortune.
I recommend this book girls yr 6/7 to yr10.

Speech

the time of year has come. the speech time. and this is my thinking- why do we have capitals. they're pointless. please comment your thoughts on then.
soo about the about the speech competition. i'm not nervous. i'm scared. getting up in front of a lot of people and talking to them. scary. i'll be fine once i get started but i will probably talk to fast and not make eye contact.
what if people don't like my speech? i'm scared.

please comment your opinion on capitals.

ssssssssssssspace

So we have been learning about space at school. One of the things things that has come up tis a binary star system, which is when two  stars orbit each other. But i wonder, does each of the two stars have their own planets orbiting them, or do the planets orbit both stars in some weird fashion. And what happens if one star is bigger than another? Can stars orbit other stars? Without the other star orbit then that is. And our their trinary star system, with three stars. How about Quadnary?

Do humans actually knew the answers to all this question? And if we do, do we know for sure, all is it just guess work? I'll really like to learn more about binary star systems
